How to Cut a Paper Snowflake

Have you ever wondered how to cut a perfect paper snowflake? Luckily for us Jessica of How About Orange has taken the guesswork out of this holiday project and thrown in a fabulous packaging idea to boot! Check it out right here. (Found via Jenna T. on pinterest).

And now we would like to wish you and yours a very merry holiday season. We will be taking a break from posting here until after the busyness has subsided. We hope you'll find our previous posts useful as you wrap up gifts for the coming holiday and into the New Year.

Gift Idea: Quick Bread in a Bottle

It could be the milk bottle as packaging that won me over, but this Quick Bread in a Bottle gift idea from Sunset is definitely topping my must make/must give list for the holidays. Isn't it so charming? (discovered via Nikki Rappaport on Pinterest).

If you're looking for some great bottles for this project I spotted a few online that might work nicely - here, here, and here.

Packaging Inspiration: Neutrals

Flickr is an endless source of inspiration for me. I literally have to force myself not to spend my days there favoriting photo after photo (sometimes I can't help myself though). Luckily my lack in willpower has yielded a giant folder full of inspiring images. Today I thought it would be nice to showcase a few that are currently sparking my creative juices. Perfect neutral holiday inspiration!

Food Packaging Inspiration

It's no secret that we're a little obsessed with food packaging. Karen Mordechai of Sunday Suppers has THE best ideas when it comes to food styling and presentation. I can spend all day reading this site. Warning: make sure you have plenty of snacks nearby, it's full of drool-worthy shots of food and I always leave hungry.

I'm starting to plan for the holidays and this Honey Fromage Blanc + Granola pair has been sitting on my list of to do's for ages! I think it'll be perfect for a holiday brunch or maybe as a welcome basket for new neighbors!
